Deskripsi


Energi listrik merupakan energi yang sangat vital dalam  operasional perusahaan. Hampir semua peralatan dan sumber penerangan  yang digunakan berasal dari energi listrik . Namun dalam pemakaiannya  banyak dikeluhkan adanya ketidak-efisiensian energi listrik ini. Hal ini terbukti dari membengkaknya tagihan listrik yang harus dibayarkan perbulannya.  Terlebih apabila ini terjadi dilingkungan kantor atau perusahaan maka akan mengakibatkan anggaran biaya yang cukup besar.


Tingkat efisiensi pemakaian listrik di pengaruhi oleh daya listrik yang terpasang, aktivitas yang dilakukan,jenis peralatan yang terpasang dan rata-rata pemakaian listrik perhari/per bulan.Untuk mengefisiensikan pemakaian listrik, maka perlu dilakukan manajemen audit energi listrik dimana dengan audit tersebut akan didapatkan potret pengunaan energi listrik pada suatu bangunan, mengetahui kondisi peralatan yang terpasang dan mengetahui peluang untuk penghematan energi. Keberhasilan program efisiensi pemakain energi listrik, selain dipengaruhi oleh faktor teknis juga sangat bergantung pada komitmen manajemen puncak dan komitmen seluruh karyawan dalam gerakan efisiensi.

Dr. Eng. Budi Prawara is graduated from Material Engineering (Thermal Spray Coating) University of the Ryukyus Japan for his Doctorate program. He work as researcher at research center of electric power and mechatronics - LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia) and his structural position is as head of Subdivision of mechatronic facilities. His core expertise is material engineering and surface engineering(rekayasa permukaan).  Related to training, Dr. Eng. Budi Prawara has taught  training class on topics related to Thermal Spray Coating, including heat treatment. This 5 day course is designed to broaden and increase knowledge of all participants on the industrial refrigeration system which includes HVAC system. In detail, the discussion will cover its selection, operation, maintenance and load calculation of air management.

DR. Ir. I Made Astina, M.Eng. is currently assistant professor of mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering ITB. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department ITB in 1992. Prior to his Ph.D. obtainment in Engineering (thermodynamics, school of science for open and environmental systems) from Keio University Tokyo, Japan in 2004, he received Master of Science in Engineering (mechanical engineering department) from the same university in 1997. His researches concern on thermodynamic, development of new thermal systems, thermodynamic cycles, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. His papers were published in international and national journals, besides he also presents his papers in international and national seminars. Besides teaching at the university, he also has experiences to give short courses for industrial practical engineers and publics and to collaborate practical consultant works.



Dr. Ir. Nathanael P. Tandian completed his undergraduate study in the Mechanical Engineering Department ITB in 1983, then he joined the Mechanical Engineering Department of ITB as a faculty member (1984) and later the Thermodynamics Laboratory as a research staff (1985). He continued his graduate program at the University of Minnesota USA and got his MSME (1991). In 1994 he received his Ph.D. in the area of Thermodynamics and Head Transfer. He has been being intensively involved in many researches, technical training and seminars of refrigeration and thermal system. He has also been involved in several collaborative projects with oil and gas industries.

Sebagian besar penyebab kebakaran di perkotaan/daerah industrial adalah karena listrik dimana besarnya kerugian secara material selama tahun 2003 adalah sebesar Rp.23 Milyar! Bagaimana apabila hal itu terjadi pada perusahaan tempat ada bekerja?


Standar OHSAS mengenai bahaya-bahaya listrik dan mekanikal terhadap pekerja, mewajibkan perusahaan memberikan pendidikan dan latihan Electrical and Mechanical Safety. Adapun pekerja wajib memberitahu perusahaan melalui atasannya (supervisor) apabila menemukan bahaya-bahaya listrik dan mekanikal di area perusahaan. Alat berat adalah segala macam peralatan/pesawat mekanis termasuk attachment & implementnya baik yang bergerak dengan tenaga sendiri (self propelled) atau ditarik (towed-type) maupun yang diam ditempat (stationer) dan mempunyai daya lebih dari satu kilo-watt, yang dipakai untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan-pekerjaan kontruksi pertambangan, industri umum, pertanian/kehutanan dan/atau bidang-bidang pekerjaan lainnya, sepanjang tidak merupakan alat processing langsung“


Dalam pengoperasian alat berat banyak hal dan aspek yang harus diperhatikan, mulai dari ketrampilan dan skill operator, prosedur pengoperasian alat, aspek keselamatan kerja (K3) dan aspek perawatan dan troubleshooting.
